The protective layers are integrated discreetly within the clothing to help slow and disperse the force from stab or poke threats. Unlike traditional body armor, Saeff® garments maintain a natural look and flexible feel, allowing normal movement throughout the day.
Although Saeff® stab resistant garments are not stab proof and do not guarantee complete protection, the design focuses protection where it matters most, helping reduce impact while keeping the garment lightweight and comfortable.

What Does the Saeff® Level Mean?
The Saeff® level system is designed to balance protection and everyday wearability. Level 1 focuses on lightweight comfort and flexibility for daily use. Level 2 provides a balanced combination of comfort and enhanced protection. Level 3 delivers the highest level of protection within the range, with increased structure and density.
- Thickness: Each higher level adds more material layering, resulting in a thicker structure from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Rigidity: The material becomes progressively firmer, indicating increased structural strength and resistance at higher levels.
- Warmness: As layers and density increase, the garment provides more insulation, leading to greater warmth at higher levels.
- Impact Resistance: Protection capability improves steadily, with Level 3 offering the highest ability to help reduce impact from stab or poke threats.
